WAR IS BEING WAGED!
AGAINST SMALL BUSINESS AND THE MIDDLE CLASS
American small business owners are facing an ever growing threat from the overblown, faceless corporations. The unique personalities, down home values, and caring touches of our small businesses are being erased and replaced with cold, care less conglomerates that seek only profit instead of community enrichment. This war has been raging for years and the small business owners of America have almost lost the war.
THE SYSTEM IS RIGGED AGAINST THEM
LARGE CORPORATIONS GET THE GOVERNMENT FAVORS
When a small business opens its doors in its community it faces challenges like regulations, fees, etc. with little to no help available in navigation all that is required to begin. Large corporations, on the other hand, have the red carpet rolled out for them by the local government by the way of waived fees, subsidies, favors, and more all for the promise of increased jobs and tax revenue, which sometimes never happens.
TRADITIONAL ADVERTISING ONLY WORKS FOR LARGE CORPORATIONS
With the nationalization/globalization of our advertising small businesses often find themselves competing with multi-national corporations for your attention. These small businesses cannot hope to match the advertising spend of a major corporate entity. Therefore their message is squashed and never makes it to the eyes or ears of the community.
THE SYSTEM FAVORS ONLY THOSE ON TOP
With the way the current advertising climate is setup, where those who have the most to spend get the most attention and how the government rewards the richer corporations while burdening the small business there is little to no way for a small business to thrive outside of sheer luck.
WHY DO SMALL BUSINESSES MATTER ANYWAYS?

THE GRAND OPENING
Large corporation opens its doors to the community. All seems well at first.
SUPPORTED BY THE GOVERNMENT
Large corporation steals from the community by paying little to no taxes or fees because of subsidies and favors.
PROMOTED BY THE NEWS
Large corporation receives free publicity by their arrival being heralded by the local media, who is also owned by a large corporation.
A HUGE ADVANTAGE
Large corporation outspends all local small businesses in advertising thanks to wealthy backing, bulk discounts, and partnerships.
JOBS FOR THE COMMUNITY
Large corporation offers lots of low paying jobs with little benefits and little fulfillment.
BLEEDING THE TOWN DRY
Large corporation funnels money out of small community and sends it back to corporate headquarters located in major city.
Large corporation runs every small, independent business out of business.
FREE TO BE MEAN
With all competition squashed and community dependent on large corporation for jobs, they can now raise prices and reduce wages.
ALL USED UP
With nothing but low paying jobs available and most of the money of the community being funneled into the pockets of the rich owners of the corporation the people are forced to leave the community. If they stay they go into poverty, leading to the disappearance of the middle class.
